Week 8 BOC: The Adventure

I, Phineas Fogg, have accepted a challenge from my fellow members at the Reform Club and will set out of prove that you can travel around the world in a mind-boggling 80 days.
“Today started out the same as most of these days have been. The balloon is in need of repair and we are only two days ahead of schedule. We will have to stop at the next town for water and supplies.
We stopped near a loch called Ness, in Scotland, with rumors of monsters and such, this seemed a logical stop for me. The locals enjoyed the usual foods and delicacies as I had expected, and one especially good: Haggis. I had never tasted it and had a desire to do so. After tasting this wonderful treat It occurred to me that I had to somehow take its intriguing flavors with us. The staples that were most common for these parts were potatoes, milk products and sheep. I suddenly got the great Idea to somehow slice the potatoes so thin that they could retain the flavor of almost anything I applied to them, in this case Haggis. But to add a bit of variety to this delicacy I had to insert a bit of the local tradition. I decided to call my potato “chips,” if you will, Loch Nessie chips: The lightly salted flavor of the monster Nessie. We soaked the chips in the water from the Loch for a bit of originality, and used traditional Haggis flavorings.
